To be a good fit for the Packer opportunity, you will have:

  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
You need to know:
  • This is a physical job and you will be on your feet for almost all of any 12-hour shift. 
  • You'll need to be able to stay focused as you perform tasks repeatedly.
  • You'll need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • The job involves bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting and climbing, and you will be exposed to varying temperature conditions.

You will report to a Production Supervisor and work in different production areas. Internally your title will be Utility Operator. In a nutshell, you will be assigned to a particular press and, as products come off, you will perform a basic quality check, pack the products in boxes or on skids, and prepare it for shipment. The pace is steady but not overwhelming. We encourage employees to take micro-breaks and stretch breaks.

More specifically, you will:
  • Inspect finished product and pack according to company standards.
  • Stack finished product according to specification sheets.
  • Place labels on boxes or finished products.
  • Read product specification sheets.
  • Work in and foster a safe work culture.
  • And more.
The schedule for Packers/Utility Operators rotates with three days on the first week and four days on in the second. Shifts run from 6:40 AM to 7 PM and 6:40 PM to 7 AM.
